Right is right, even if nobody does it.
Wrong is wrong,
even if everybody is wrong about it.
G. K. Chesterton
In today’s world, you simply have to do what is right and not listen to what others say about it. People, who disagree with your way of life, will come against you from every side. They will hound you trying to convince you that your way of thinking is wrong. As Mother Teresa would say, do right anyway.
The majority do not decide right and wrong, not even in a republic or democracy. Oh, they may pass laws declaring what is legal and illegal, but that rarely has to do with what is right and what is wrong. Wrong is wrong, even if everyone promotes it. People like sheep. They like people who go along with the crowd, because they more people that go along with them, the more they feel they are right.
The warrior blazes his own path; he does not follow the crowd. He thinks for himself and decides how he will live based on his standards of right and wrong, not everyone else’s opinions of right and wrong. Warriors do right because it is right, not because others give him the thumbs up or are pleased with his actions. He is not concerned with their opinions, but rather he listens to the guidance of his own spirit.
In today’s politically correct world, you must be clear on your own principles, and hold to them, no matter what others say or do. You must be true to yourself. Don’t allow the sheep to influence the lion. Have you spent time alone contemplating your code of honor and your principles? The time is coming where, if you aren’t clear on what you believe, you will falter. Now is the time to be clear about your beliefs, your principles, and your code!
