Chivalry is not dead, there are just too
many boys and not enough REAL MEN!
Chivalry is not dead, at least not to men of honor. Those of us who still live the warrior lifestyle know how to treat a lady, and we couldn’t care less whether you call it chivalry, manners, or stupidity. The opinions of lesser men, or so-called liberated women, don’t matter to us. We live by a certain code and couldn’t care less what anyone else thinks about it.
Whenever I write on chivalry, I inevitably have those who think they are smarter than everyone else, chime in and give a strict definition of chivalry and where the code of chivalry originated, in some vain attempt to discredit what I am teaching. What these people don’t seem to understand is that real men don’t care about their opinions, their whining, or all the reasons why they can’t treat ladies as they should be treated.
This also goes for those boys out there who have been hurt by girls, and thus they have an attitude towards all women. These people live a lie. They were once hurt, so they declare all women can’t be trusted, only want one thing, etc. What they don’t seem to comprehend is that they are simply full of crap. If you want to find a good woman, you must first be a good man, unless of course, you get very lucky.
Quit whining about how evil women are and man up! Quit acting like spoiled little boys, and start acting like real men! No woman in her right mind wants to waste time with some loser who conducts himself like a spoiled, needy boy. Self-respecting women know that they should respect themselves enough to make sure that they find someone who is a man of character, not some foul-mouthed, needy punk with an attitude.
Chivalry is not dead, there are just too many boys and not enough real men! Real men know how a lady should be treated and they treat her that way. They are secure with themselves and who they are. Real men are not concerned with what others think; they are not out to impress anyone else. They simply live by their code, period. If their code or their behavior offends others, then so be it.
If they hold the door open for a woman, and that woman happens to be some obnoxious feminist who is both an ingrate and obnoxious, that doesn’t change their attitude, nor does it change the way that they behave to the next woman they meet. They know that this world is full of idiots, and they don’t allow those people to have any sway over who they are or how they behave.
Remember, as Gracian taught, “The man of honor does not forget who he is because of what others are.” Decide what kind of man you want to be and BE that man. Don’t allow the idiots, ingrates, and fools of this world cause you to change who and what you are. Warrior up!
