If you focus on the hurt, you will continue to suffer. If you focus on the lesson, you will continue to grow.
If you focus on the hurt, you will continue to suffer.
If you focus on the lesson, you will continue to grow.

The things that you focus on and the way that you perceive those things, determine whether or not those things will disrupt your inner peace. If you focus on the wrong thing, or perceive something the wrong way, it can absolutely disrupt your inner peace.

This is why you have to learn to discipline and control your mind. Your mind will spin out of control if you allow it to. It will make a mountain out of a molehill if you are not careful.

Since inner peace resides within your mind, you must control your mind in order to maintain your inner peace. You will find that you get more of what you focus on. If you focus on the hurt, you will get more pain; if you focus on the lesson, you will continue to grow.

If you want to maintain your inner peace throughout all the trials and challenges of life, you must first learn to control your mind. Get your mind under control and inner peace will follow.
